Funny how life can go full circle sometimes and make you feel old at the same time! haha

18 plus years ago I worked with this super sweet young woman who became a friend. I went and visited her when she had this adorable baby girl and took some pictures of Mommy and baby at the hospital… at the time, I had no idea I would later decide to leave corporate life and start my photography journey. At the beginning of that journey, her Mom hired me to take pictures at that baby girl’s Kindergarten graduation and fast forward to now! This same tiny baby is now a beautiful young lady herself getting ready to graduate from high school and I can’t hardly believe it!!

Meet Anastasia. She is so much like her Mom in the best ways. Super smart, strong willed and knows what she wants for herself, puts her all in to anything she wants to try, and has a beautiful heart! <3 For her session, we went to one of their fave vacation spots down in the beautiful Siesta Key. We got pastel sunrises, some fun exploring Downtown Sarasota both in the day and night, visited the Ringling Mansion and grounds and hoped for a wild sunset on the ocean but, just got a peek of red on a stormy night (and she made friends with a bird lol). So much variety and fun that it made it hard to narrow down. Enjoy some of her favorite images from her senior session.
